Pledge manager coming soon!
over 1 year ago – Fri, Nov 04, 2022 at 06:44:18 PM

Hello backers!

I wanted to give a quick update saying that you can expect a link to the pledge manager next week. I need a bit more time to iron out a couple issues that came up while testing in order to make sure everything will go smoothly for you once I send your access link.

Thank you again for your support and I hope you enjoy your weekend.

Happy gaming,

David

As a quick side note, if you are eligible to vote in America I strongly encourage you to do so if you haven't already! Election day is Tuesday and early voting is open now in the vast majority of the country. For information on where to vote, you can visit vote.org

A successful Kickstarter thanks to you! Here's what's next
over 1 year ago – Sat, Oct 29, 2022 at 06:21:20 PM

Thank you to all of the hundreds of backers who made this Kickstarter a success! I am so excited to get all your rewards made and on the way to you in these coming months.

Here is what comes next:

In approximately one week you will receive an email with a link to the pledge manager. In the pledge manager you will select the rewards you want, enter your shipping address, and pay for shipping and the cost of any upgrades or add-ons you choose that exceed the amount you pledged during the Kickstarter.

In approximately four weeks when I have your responses and the funds from the project have settled, I will begin the manufacturing process. I will continue to give updates as that process goes forward. You should expect your reward to ship by the end of April 2023, but I will be working hard to send the rewards earlier if possible.

Thank you and happy gaming!

10 days left!
over 1 year ago – Tue, Oct 18, 2022 at 03:14:34 PM

Thank you to all the backers who got this project over 330% funded with 10 days left. It is looking very likely that this will be my most successful launch yet with only 25 more backers to go before I surpass my previously most popular project!

It has been a joy for me to see so many of my backers from the past supporting this project and leaving comments. My last Kickstarter launch was in 2019, so I wasn't sure what to expect after such a long gap. Going forward I plan to launch at least one Kickstarter project each year, so you won't have to wait so long next time!

It has also been a great pleasure to see so many first-time backers excited about this launch. I can't wait for you to experience these dice - they are like nothing else out there.

Thanks again everyone and happy gaming!

Nine days, over 250 backers
over 1 year ago – Thu, Oct 06, 2022 at 03:54:07 PM

We are 1/3rd of the way through and thanks to my wonderful backers, the project is already over 270% funded!

I can't wait for the day I have all of your finished dice; shiny,  new, and waiting to be sent off. I am definitely going to have to arrange them together and share an image of the epic hoard of these gigantic math rocks. Even if the Kickstarter project ended today it would be a dazzling display of well over 30,000 faces, each individually machined and laser marked with the correct number.

I am thankful to all of you for making this possible. Most of all I am honored that my dice have been invited to your gaming tables! Every TTRPG campaign is its own passion project - the game master and players together putting in hundreds or often thousands of hours to create a world and enjoy adventures within it. The most rewarding part of making my dice creations is thinking about all the stories they will get to play a small part in telling.

Thank you and happy gaming,

David

200 Backers!
over 1 year ago – Fri, Sep 30, 2022 at 02:43:54 AM

200 backers have now pledged their support in these first few days. Thank you!!

My secret goal is 1,000 backers before the project ends. The idea of sending these giant beautiful dice out to a thousand people fills me with joy and excitement. I'm even excited at the prospect of packing and shipping 1,000 boxes, as crazy as that might sound. It somehow always feels like I'm wrapping up a gift to give to a friend. That's probably because I want it to feel like opening a gift when my backers see their reward for the first time so I tend to have that in mind when I'm packing.

Over these next few weeks I'll be doing everything I can think of to work towards the thousand backer goal. A substantial part of the success of any Kickstarter project comes from the backers sharing the project. If you happen to know someone who might be interested in my dice it would be a huge help if you would share the project with them. If not, that's totally cool too.
